@Volbet another odd metal thing I found.

I remember stumbling upon Ningen Isu some years ago on Metal Archives. They have a ton of albums released, but they're kinda difficult to find outside of Japan.

Some friends of mine are also huge fans, and, while they deny it, you can absolutly hear it in their music:

†

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
        In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
        In Flanders fields.

Cry havoc and let slip the Togs of war.  (Signature V3)

@Volbet So, according to genetics test my old ass heritage is Rus/Swedish Norse meets Sami people of Norway.  XD

^I know Finnish, but still the same religion and people.

Most of my Scandinavian ancestors left in the 1840s for Germany, the UK, and Croatia.  Then they mostly migrated in 1900 to the Ukraine, comrade.  track suit intensifies

You're gonna be downing semki and reindeer meat in no time. Three stripes for life, blyat.

I've never taken any of those heritage tests, but I know for a fact my dad's side have lived on in Iceland since at least the middle ages.

My mother's side is a bit less clear but considering my grandfather's view on racial purity, I can assume it's purely Serbian (or Slavic, I guess).

Infest is literally the only Serbian band I know, sorry.

I heard this on KCRW on my way to my Grandma's house in LA. I'm not one to explore much music, but this track just stuck in my head and I was able to capture it with with Shazam.

It's called, "Since I left you" by The Avalanches. This is the music video that accompanies the song however the YouTube Master is not great. The iTunes Mastered version sounds perfect (256kbps/44.100kHz)

It's mostly a sample based song which can be pretty terrible, but quite frankly, this song is terrific if you appreciate instrumentals and every component of the track having a strong presence. Give it a listen or buy it!

An oldie, but still a goodie.  I miss those days.  The players and Wow itself were just so much more fun back then.
