Still using the pro-ject primary E, a 200 USD turntable (needs upgrading) on a 10k amplifier and still using the vintage sonys, bit of a bottleneck Tbh... still sounds awesome.

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)

The Primary E always struck me as kinda weird. I understand that Pro-ject wanna incentivize people to buy a more upmarket model, but the Primary E looks like Pro-ject cloned a Uturn Orbit. It's the same general tone arm and motor assembly, at least.

True they are very similar. The pro-ject has a tonearm lift though which is nice to have. It's also quite a bit cheaper. But im looking for a high end table now. Gonna give the pro-ject to a friend if they want it :)
