I think Judas priest is the best, hands down, painkiller is definitely a good one. Don't get me started with Ian Gillan, hes amazing! No I haven't seen them live, I've always wanted too.

He didn't like to show off range like a lot of rock/metal singers, but he always knew what he was doing and has one hell of a voice.  Mark Boals was a mix of range and skill.

Rainbow is only rainbow with Dio, I'm not the biggest fan of JLT, but he can rock it.
