Well it's not neccesarily what I'm listening to right now (because I'm not listening to any music ATM). But I do love me some Owl City. Great music! :D

I saw these guys in high school 10 years ago, then out of nowhere my brother in L.A. calls me and said they are having a show near him on the 18th. I haven't seen him in a while so we booked a flight for the 17th and we have something fun to do the next day!

 

 

Here is another jam that a local radio staion has been playing a bunch that I really like. I looked it up on youtube and wow, not sure what the video is about but it's worth a watch!

 

 

[Hot dog slap]  lol! The dude with the beard in the conference room kind of looks like Jimmy from Tek syndicate, funny stuff!

I went ahead and added a second set for a B set of speakers to put next to my bed if I'm not at my desk

I started dicking around and plugged in my old center channel (currently my cup holder)

sounded like straight ass, but I started fiddling with the phantom center over stereo and I can't decide if I should try it or just leave processing off.

The jazz flare from these guys is really nice. They seem somewhat popular, idk how I haven't heard of them until SAV1OUR mentioned.

I've been balls deep in their sounds since @SAV1OUR posted that beat, it's good I agree.

 

I think the reason why we don't always find obvious groups is because we are approaching sometimes decades after the whole timeline of the scene has passed, the music's all there but in what order we find it is pretty much cursed to be random as opposed to living through the era and picking it up as it came.

 

 

I use a Denon amplifier seperate (it's actually on the end of my desk sideways in ghetto fashion) and a pair of Denon branded (but made by Mission) desktop speakers, that's what's on my desk, there's not so much bass of course but it's quite a clear sound and the seperate has a headphone amp inside.

The vocal sample is also in some terrible electropop chart song that was being played on the radio here for weeks.

That mix is pleasant, I believe I have heard it before and it lurks in a folder somewhere.

Bandits? I don't think I've seen that. I heard this song as a kid and then again in Shrek. :P

 

As for your songs, pretty good! Also always nice to see more of Bob Dylan. I liked the Rudiger song the most and Just the Two of Us (of which I of course heard before lol). :wub:

What? Sometimes the site doesn't update me on things, not even when I follow threads. :( first, concerning that post: K-Rose is a great radio station! I haven't played SA in forever. My Xbox copy is real old and scratchy. I bought it from Hastings, so I guess that made me realize not to do it again. lol

 

I like that Statler Brothers' song, I can definitely picture this song in GTA:SA. But I loved the I Love a Rainy Night! That was great! My kind of night song. I could picture listening to this song actually driving at night. *added to Spotify!* :wub:

 

Who doesn't love Wilie Nilson? I think you gotta either not have ever heard a single song of his or just crazy if you don't like him. :rolleyes: Listening to this I realized just how great it would  be for Fallout: New Vegas. :lol: Was this on GTA too? One of these days I gotta get it on PC...
