I didnt get to see the presentation, is there a reason as to why the name of the arc was changed, is it a copyright issue?

They didn't say why they changed it. I guess they just felt like it and did it. lol

The changed  the name because its not just "volta" going on this implementation volta was about the stacked ram... now they developed new methods to add bandwidth to their cards (nvlink) and unified it with the GPU and that new product has now the name of Pascal... volta is just not going to be realised..
