NH-D14 vs Dark Rock Pro 3

Who will win? Price does not matter. Just overall temperatures AND noise.

 

I'm looking for a nice quiet cooler that will also cool effectively.

 

 

Building in an  Define R4, LGA 1155/1150 compatibility required.

I own a D-14, The Dark Rock is better in terms of silence and performance difference is negligible. Better colour scheme on the Dark Rock too imo

Still learning how to play Dota 2 :)

If you have the white r4 then definitely grab the Noctua, but if you have the black one then the choice is obvious here, dark rock pro3 all the way.

They're similar in noise and the Dark Rock Pro 3 cools a bit better. The mounting for the NH-D14 is easier to use though.

Keep the opinions coming, just saying right now I couldn't care less for colour scheme, while it looks nice, I'll take performance and quietness over how good it looks any day, imagine they're both the same colour when answering.

noctua is an Austrian company and be quiet is a German company. With that being said, both coolers are made in China.
