No it's just happening when i'm on the internet or watching a youtube clip. And my cpu temp doesn't go over 50°C on under load. So I don't think that is the problem.

I'm using DVI to VGA adapter because my monitor does't support DVI.

Sounds like a VGA thing to me, try get your hands on a DVI to HDMI adapter for your monitor. But first try clocking your card down to reference speeds or bumping up the voltage a little ;) could just be as simple as gpu instability on the out of the box overclock, it happens.

run prime 95 and memtest along with any other stress test progs you can find. all the while watching the temps. also unless your playing multithreaded games your cpu will bottleneck that gpu on games like starcraft 2 that only uses 1 or 2 threads.

there are a couple of unoffical patches

http://www.techpowerup.com/158534/New-Windows-7-Bulldozer-Patches-Available..html

if the links still work give em a try. (i heard m.s removed the hotfixes but if you can find them they will often give 2-5% each.

Also when it freezes theres a humming sound from the speakers! I didn't notice that by now because I'm using the inbuilt soundcard on my microphone and not onboard sound.

You can't run Prime95 and Memtest86 together. And you also can't look at the temps while running Memtest86.

He has also stated that temps never go above 50 degrees on load.

At first i would run your pc with only one stick of RAM.. I had the similar problem as you and and it showed up that it was a RAM issue. One stick run fine the other didn't.

If this is not your case, because you said that you can move with your cursor when it freezes, maybe the problem is HDD or your software.

PS: The best way to make your software ok is Windows reinstal ;)

It seems like it was the Realtek drivers that was the problem so it's fixed now! :D
