I do believe I have run into some very bad luck.

My first build took me three years to complete, and now that it is finished it is not eligible for builds of the week because I completed it 12 days to early......

Dam you universe!!!! Why have you forsaken me????

If only I had waited.

You can just put a sticker on like the bottom outside of the case (not visable) and then tell everyone. Oké, the build is done! (I would do this!)

Goodluck! <3

Hive fire: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/120478-hive-fire-watercooled-custom-800d/

This is my first buildlog and my first pc where i custom changed the look of the case, parts in it, and it is my first watercooling build.
I have been subscribing to LTT for some time now and the weekly build log on the WAN show and many builds here on this forum is what inspired me to do this build. So i started to look arround for parts, i drew some mockups in photoshop, and finally decided on my theme. I did not want something i seen b4 many times (one colour builds), i also did not want a multicolour mess so my Theme is Fire. The colours in the build is red, orange and yellow. Most custom parts is in brushed aluminium and the fittings and res is in black nickle.

Build parts:
Case: Corsair 800D
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Formula
CPU: 4770k
PSU: Corsair 860i
Ram: 4x 4GB Dominator Platinum 1866Mhz
GFX Card: MSI GTX 780ti
Storage: SSD 2x Samsung 840 Pro 256GB
HDD 2x WD Green 3TB
3x WD Green 2TB

Too bad you can't submit older builds, but oh well otherwise this would

get flooded :P Lookin forwards to seeing build logs on the show again,

it was one of my favorite sections. Already lookin forward to it! :)

Oh and I love that you did the description in latin, wish I could actually

read it though...

It's not latin, Lorem Ipsum is just a place holder used in web and graphic design. It's so instead of actually writing something real while showcasing your new web design or poster or something, you just put lorem ipsum as a place holder to show how it would look like if it had text in it. It's not possible to read because it's just random words with latin roots in a random order.

So anyone decided not to submit their build after seeing this? :P

That's quite a benchmark you've set Rakior. Beautiful build!

After seeing that build everyone is going to hold off submitting until next week.

Perhaps this is a flaw in the new method of build logs, as soon as someone sees a submitted build that they can not beat they will hold their sub for another week.

It's what i would do.

Description: Meet Brenda or Envy. This is my photo editing, video editing and gaming computer! I have spent a long time creating her, as there was a few pieces of custom work that needed to be done to be able to create it exactly how I wanted it (cutting dual 120mm in the front of the case.). The computer was designed for great performance whilst keeping the system cool and quiet (it was also made to look AWESOME!).  I can safely say that it was a success! I am extremely happy with the build and how it has come out. It will be used to the max for many years to come!

Titanfall Special Edition PC: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/130639-titanfall-special-edition-pc/

Well here is one of my first ever custom mods, theme based off the popular new title, Titanfall. I had only 1 week to build this (back home for spring break) so it may not be as in depth as I had imagined, but I believe it turned out nice nonetheless. The hardware is nothing special, this is a mid-range build, capable of running Titanfall! Let me know what you think!

Specifications:

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 760K @3.8GHz

Case: Bitfenix Prodigy

Motherboard: MSI FM2-A75IA-E53

Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 Dual-X

HDD: WD Blue 1TB

SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600 MHz

PSU: Corsair CX600

OS: Windows 7

Thread URL : http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/108774-build-log-project-rampage-ii-caselabs-sth10-tri-sli-780ti-full-wc/

Description :

This is the successor build for my previous build Project Rampage, this build is codenamed Project Rampage II. The initial plan for the build is very simple, which is just upgrade the casing from Corsair 800D to Caselabs STH10 or Corsair 900D and also add in one more radiator to the loop.

But as the build starts, more ideas flow in and in became a major upgrade to all aspects, watercooling, thermal control, performance, aesthetic, cable management.

I am very pleased with this build as this build had been very successful and had acceded what I wish to achieve. Currently the build is fully automated with the thermal control. Cable management had also improved over the previous build as more planning had done in terms of routing the cables as well as custom made PSU cables are made.

In terms of performance, I had replaced the 680 GTX SLI with GTX 780TI 3-Way SLI. This had improved my gaming performance tremendously, as the cards are able to clock higher due to the better water cooling setup I had installed.

Neptune 2.0 :http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/113719-complete-neptune-20-reverse-polarity-nzxt-switch-810-reverse-atx-dwood-pedestal-build/#entry1519778

Description : I was completely content with the former version of Neptune (http://linustechtips...-cooled-build/) but a Dwood pedestal had me putting the mod hat back on once again. This time, I jump off the cookie cutter trend of case configurations and reversed the case to build a one-off system that would never be mistaken as an LD or 900D ripoff. My plan worked as some could not identify what this behemoth of a case was as they stare into the acrylic tubes that flow seamlessly into its mid panel which resembles a pool Mayhems Pastel Blue Berry coolant.

Everything in this build, from the bent acrylic panels and tubing, down to every single paracord sleeved cable, was built in-house and not outsourced (except for my CF SLI cover, which was laser cut at work with the help of a good friend and fellow PC modder:p). I can happily say that I am now completely content to have finally completed the dream machine I have always wanted. I hope you guys enjoy watching it unfold as much as I enjoyed building it.  Future plans will include Maxwell GPUs (skipping Geforce 700 series).

Thanks.  Evidently I'm not much of a photophile at best lol but I try to keep it dark with only the light shining on the things that matter in the build, much like the ice giant planet itself.  Hope it makes sense.

The text is actually from a text on the theory of ethics. It kind of makes sense if you put it into google translate. http://www.lipsum.com/

These build look sick by the way. I'm so looking forward to one day doing a water cooled build with my own case mods
