Why so much HATE on Razer Products

I haven't used any sort of premium peripherals, I use membrane keyboards. I don't know, I like the aesthetics of razer products more than any others however I will go corsair when I decide to invest.

I am good at computer

My understanding is they make good products, however i'm running a Steelseries mouse.

Some people can be a bit 'fanboy' on them compared to other peripheral companies.

Well depends. Their mice are amazing. I had several razer mice and all seems to work. My MMO 7 broke in about a day though, pity. As for headphones keyboards and controllers, they suck :P. Look for more respectable brands.

Their products are OK, but they are too expensive for what you get in terms of functionality (For $39 I can buy a Logitech G300 with macros and customisable light strips and logitech's great software, but on razers side for $49.99 you can get an Abyssus which does not have macros or customizable lights (there is still a blue razer logo though)).

Its like apple, except with computer peripherals instead of ipods/phones/computers etc.   :P

Their Comms software is great though, but their mouse/kb software is not as good as Logitechs imo.

pc specs: 4 function calculator / 8 digit lcd display / colored numeric and function buttons

This is like the 463rd time such a topic has been made. Just leave razer alone already ffs.

This thread was NOT started to flame Razer. I personally LOVE Razer. I wanted to know people experiences with Razer products and Razer as a company.

I love Razer game pads and just the over quality of Razer. I have come to expect most proudcts from Razer to have all the extra stuff that you dont really need but is nice to have. Over all I think Razer is a good company.

I just love their stuff. I have all Razer peripherals and I couldn't be happier. Myself and my friends haven't had an issue with their products and apart from their products they do some cool stuff.

My Razer Imperator died, my Blackwidow 2013 Ultimate bricked while updating firmware(fixed), even those thing happen to me, I'm going to buy Razer Ouroboros and I think they have the best laptop out there.

Kinda off topic, but I found this from my high school's IT class. I guess we have a Razer fan...

Dat ghetto Razer mouse.

Never trust my advice. Only take any and all advice from me with a grain of salt. Just a heads up.

Ever since the Naga 2014 was out, I've been staring at Linus unboxing review on that mouse. But meh, I still hate their synapse software and their value of item.

I don’t really have much experience with their products, have used a friend’s Naga and Dethadder but that is about it. Was never really that keen on the styling of their products, just not for me I guess.

My point of view? Well, razer is pricey. But they make some good products. Haven't used loads, but the blackwidow and deathadder are great. I have my Deathadder for over 4 maybe even 5 years, it still works just fine. The matt finish on the mouse isn't that great anymore, but used it for gaming and editing for over 5 years, so I expect it to wear off. The blackwidow, soon will be 1 year old, we'll see how long it'll last but so far still looks great and works great.

I have a Raizer Taipan mouse

It's made for midgets and has bad drives witch makes the mouse lag.

Have a friend with some razer headset, also says it's made for midgets.

I'm actually using a Razer Anansi right now. But I'm replacing it with a mechanical keyboard soon. I like razer because they make good products, I dislike Razer because they use way too much green and their products are expensive, you ca get similar products for $40 less. I always like to say "if it has a razer logo on it, it costs $40 more than what it should"

I have a deathadder and I love it. But what the hell do I need my moussettings in the cloud for? Really annoying that I have to login to use software to turn off the lightning and change sensitivity.

Also bought a headset, the carcharias because it looked sweet. Plugged the way too long cable in through usb, and had a static noise and sound was super hollow. Insta return, and turned me off from razer and headsets.

I had a Razer mouse, keyboard, mousepad and headset.

Now I've only got my Blackwidow (mmmm Cherry MX Blues) and Goalithus left.

After using a corsair mouse I honestly couldn't go back.

But man I still like em.

I'm the one who overclocks.

Maybe razer is breaking apart. As I said before, don't have a lot to do with Razer, except 2 products. Most people that have Deathadder mouses, are really happy with it, maybe all newer products are going to complete shieeet.

pretty ok but overpraised

really overpraised for what it gives you especially the keyboards
