Why so much HATE on Razer Products

They make good products but I wouldn't get one simply because me and some friends have had their products break on them.

I think that there expensive stuff and the deathadder are nice, but everything else is a bit meh for build quality and they sometimes have picked aesthetics over functionality.

I like them but then I don't like them.

Good products and cool styling but idk, maybe they overuse their logo or its because people go after them like there's nothing else.

I would agree with you there. But then again I'm a sucker for asthetics, and as long as the thing does what it's supposed to  ^_^

A bit over priced at times compared to competition, but still good products. Death Stalker Ultimate was a fail tbh. If the Razer Blade system could be better perfected, then it would be possibly game changing.

I hate how everything is green. Green is an ugly color.

Well like the razer naga core edition I think it is has a led on the mouse, but it would run warm and also the hammerhead earbuds seem to be aesthetics over performance

A mate of mine has the original Lycosa, still in good nick, he loves it to death.

Have all the bass. If they made hammerheads with a more 'even' sound (for lack of a better term) than just BASS BASS BASS, I'd buy them for sure.

I like Razer. I own a Naga and a Nostromo that have both been good to me for years. Sadly they're both starting to show some wear, and it might be getting close to upgrade time. The Nostromo is losing sensitivity in the keys and the Naga is... well, there's nothing wrong with it performance wise, but just looking at the thing you can tell it's been pretty thoroughly used.

Being said, you're definitely paying for a brand name with these things. Not to mention that there are an awful lot of people who think Razer is the end-all, be-all for gaming peripherals without realizing that there are TONS of choices out there that are both cheaper and better. It wouldn't be so bad but sometimes their build quality is painfully hit or miss... a friend of mine went through FOUR Black Widow keyboards before giving up and switching to something else. His board is still Razer, but I forget exactly what he's using now.

I love razer. I do think they are a bit pricey however i have had no problems with them. I know there are other companies however im big on asthetics and i love the way razer gear looks. I every peripheral i have is razer. Simply because i love the way they look and have had no problems. The naga does run warm however i actually like it. It relaxes my hand

Razer is one of those companies where people jump on the hate-bandwagon just to be cool.

PC Specs:  2x GTX 550 ti in SLI - Intel i7 2600k @ 3.4Ghz - Thermaltake Overseer Case - 8 GB Corsair Vengeance Ram - 1TB Harddrive - 500 Watt PSU that came with my old prebuilt pc lawl -  ASUS P8P67 EVO

Peripherals:  Razer Deathadder Black Edition - Razer Arctosa Keyboard - Logitech G53 Headset

Cool song of the day: Chief Keef - Round da Rosey    Changed my profile pic again...                                        Mountain Dew is good. So are video games and music. Oh and unicorns.

Way overpriced 'premium' products such as their laptops, wireless mice, 7.1 headsets etc but you can't beat their non-backlit Blackwidow, a cheap, simple, solidly built mechanical keyboard. Pairs well with the Death Adder mouse, which is a brilliant design.

So basically only buy those two products from them, everything else will break on you and they'll refuse to replace them.

Their founder has claimed multiple times that Razer is not a big business but a 'group' of gamers that want to make 'great products' and 'innovate'. This I call BS on for several reason:.

1. They're the largest manufacturer and retailer of PC accessories in the market.

2. They must shift tons of stock every day, anyone I know who is a PC gamer pretty much has at least one of their products

3. They spend a ton of money promoting themselves at trade fairs, they sponsor pro gamers with thousands of pounds worth of their products. They scream and shout and we all know why business scream and shout about their products - money.

4. They release a modified version of their products, seemingly, every single year. The prices keep going up.

I have 3 Razer Imperators broke on me within a span of 2 years.

I bought a Razer Lycosa and it broke in less than 7 days.

I boycott Razer like the plaque since then.
