Controlling the Light Effects on your Graphics Card?

LinusTech

I think this would have looked better if you turned off some of the light in the room, the difference isn't really that great on video because of that :).

Wish my waterblocks had lighting control like that...

I'm thinking of either salvaging the lighting on my cards so I can use them on my water blocks or fabricate my own. They look like they're just regular LED's with something to spread the lighting evenly.

The high quality ones are usually on the 690/Titan series to justify their prices.

Well, that's where the AIB partners come into play. Love MSI's Twin Frozer coolers.

True that. Their versions of the reference coolers are much more pleasing to look and not glossy and cheap looking like the origninal ones.

How possible would it be to  change a GTX 690 led to a RGB one with a lighting controller.

Well I'd love to throw money at a Titan.

I'm looking into this as well. So far, I think it's basically an LED strip inside that logo with something used to diffuse the light evenly.
