FX-8350 AM3+ Processor Review (Phenom II X6 1090T versus FX-8350 Comparisons)

the Intel fan club is trying to destroy the FX 8350 for almost 2 years, and this chip it's still a thing, that shows something about the chip.

the 4670k it's faster for gamimg? yes, but not for much, and if you overclock your fx correctly you will make intel run for its money

good review rascal :). My 8350 is holding up just fine in whatever game I throw at it paired with my 780- Assassin's Creed IV, Eve, Titanfall, BF4, etc... no problems yet. And I haven't even bothered to OC. It's my first build and I'm scared to touch the BIOS  0.0

Soon...

AMD FX 8350, ASUS Sabertooth 990fx R2.0, Crucial Ballistix Tracer 4x4GB 1866, PNY GTX780, Corsair HX850, Phantom 630, Samsung 120GB SSD, WD Black 2TB HDD

Rest in peace, legend.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, Gigabyte RTX 3070, 32GB RAM, 4TB Samsung SSD, and a crippling depression that causes me to buy games and not play them lol

I don't like it because Skyrim lags in every area asides from the wilds or caves. Team Fortress 2 likes to struggle in Mann versus Machine because the bot count is so absurdly high. Essentially any game that lacks any sort of multithreaded optimization is terrible when paired with the 8350, and you see bottlenecks a lot when you're running a 770 or better. The most powerful GPU I'd probably pair with the FX-8350 is probably the R9 270X. Nothing higher.

I have a FX 8320 and a HD 7970 and Skyrim with 110 mods i don't get FPS drops. I get lower FPS in certain places than others but no drops so idk. Not saying you are lying of course just saying the 8350 might not be to blame.
