Where to buy cheap house items in ue?

So, I'm finding difficult to find cheap crap to buy (especially in italy where for some reason that ignore the market sucks)

 

For home cleaning things I found mior (never tried), but they seem relatively cheap if bought with 5l/25l cans

 

For drinks, I've only found some concentrate fruit juice on ebay (but dunno) like this or this one, 

 

I didn't find anything else for food stuff..

There is also a ton of stuff from usa/germany That's nice, but importing them is pricey (when it's possible, at least with amazon), and they are still in consumer like package and pricey

 

For fresh products it's even more difficult to find a wholesale distributor that sells to privates, I wasn't able to find any

 

It's a while that I'm trying to find some cheap distributor for each category willing to sell stuff to privates.. but I wasn't really able to find any (for those categories), so I'm asking here..

Why would you buy food from eBay?... I'm sorry, that just seems weird and potentially dangerous.

Apparently it's not a good place to discuss a lot of stuff...

 

Definitely don't buy food stuffs from eBay. But for other things, you could try using eBay. Probably won't be the best, but it might be good. I would try local for food, like a Walmart or whatever general store you have over there.

Yeah

buying food from random strangers isnt really a smart idea, I mean they dont care what happens to you all they care about is their $5 and that $5 is probably a million bucks to them.

Now, you go and buy food or baby items from a reputable seller online, thats a totally different story then some person in a cheap basement rental or shed trying to scratch a living.

You'd probably want to look up distributors if you're looking to resell it, otherwise you're going to be paying a markup on top of what the person you're buying from paid.

Buying things like concentrates and syrups is pretty common on eBay. It's a marketplace, just like any other.

I've also bought quite a few food items that are simply unavailable in my country.

As with anything, if you do your research and you're careful, it's perfectly fine.

I'm not looking for reselling, but I'm looking to buy things in big quantities(and for cheap), unfortunately I didn't really find any food distributor that seems willing to sell stuff to privates..

Have you tried finding local farmers?

Not sure where in Italy you are, but when I was in Germany, everything was super cheap. In the USA, if there's farms nearby, they'll likely help you out if you buy some food from them directly. Healthy, local. Fruit, meat, whatever.

 

Depending on where you are in Italy, if it's available, Amazon Fresh is a service that delivers food to your house. Some people in NYC have used it & liked it. Convenient for Thanksgiving where everyone is buying so much food.

 

If you're a restaurant, making things with basic ingredients is better. You also might want to seek out some Restaurant stores. I don't know the official name, but there are stores designed specifically to supply restaurants with food & supplies. "You need 50 steaks? We have 50 steaks. You need a new restaurant quality sink? We've got a restaurant quality sink."

I guess maybe if it's a well known distributor who's also just using eBay as another store front. But knowing how common it is for eBay sellers to cut corners, it still freaks me out. For exotic stuff that's not available locally, yea you don't really have a choice. Though at that point you have much more than just the seller to deal with. In comes CBSA when it arrives at the border.

Yeah, even less well known ones are fine. Most products have seals on them, if it doesn't when it arrives, file claim, get money back.

Haha, the CBSA doesn't really care about candy and chips
