Can't get my RAM speed to full capacity. Going INSANE

Dan1701

DDR Speed driving me INSANE on new build. I've tried to change the DRAM Volrtage manually but nothing's working. I have very limited knowledge and have now hit a dead end. BIOS is up to date as well. Screenshots from BIOS attached. Specs in screenshots. Any help would be hugely appreciated

A bit offtopic - your CPU voltage shows in BIOS as 1.412V that seems a bit much. Temps under Prime95 small FFTs full load are ok?

leave the dram voltage and change the dram speed field to manual and apply  3200 megahertz. If that does not work means that your ram chips are unstable and need to be returned

Sorry but most of that goes over my head...I wonder if the CPU is a bit hot though as the liquid cooler I used had pre applied thermal paste but I don't know if some smudged off elsewhere and didn't give full coverage across the top of the CPU

if it was pre applied then its fine

you better leave it that way but you need to change the ram speed not ram voltage

adjust the speed to 3200

I don't know how to adjust it to 3200

he already did it see the pictures he should adjust the dram frequency or dram speed field(different motherboard manufactures use different terms but both have the same meaning meaning)

Maybe try downloading and runnig Coretemp?

Just to be sure - https://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/

And just tell the temperatures there...

I can't see where I can do that from the list of advanced menu options in BIOS. Can you see from the screenshot?

dram frequency is auto so it is clocking in at 2133 megahertz's

XMP profile is enabled though, the RAM should run 3200Mhz.

Sorry dude but I'm utterly clueless, where did you see that? Can I just change it?

This is what I'm getting

OK, that seems fine. For the temps, voltage is too high still imo...

.....

But maybe try setting the "DRAM frequency" setting in BIOS manually to 3200.
