Did i burn my rgb?

Indeed, if you don't especially care then 馃憤. It'd be annoying if they were on anyways and you just couldn't change them (my EVGA AIO does that unless I plug it into a USB header), but since (AFAIK) they're just fully off, should be bueno. Tuck the cable somewhere and call it a day.聽

So, i got a new aio water cooler and when i came to plug the aio pump the head had 3 pins only, so i didnt have any other solution but to plug it into 4 pins . S u can see in the photo, one is unplugged. So did the 12v 4 pins burn my rgb that are supposed to run on 5 volts?

3 pin fans/pumps can run off 4 pin headers without much issue, and vice versa (just 4 pin PWM fans on a 3 pin header won't actually use PWM anymore). Shouldn't have hurt your RGB, unless you also plugged the RGB itself into a different header?

Aight, so the first pic you posted was the pump header for the block/pump combo of the AIO, that part is 100% fine. For the RGB header, that depends on what type it is, what type the header on your motherboard is, and it looks like you used an adapter of some sort? If it is a 12v header and you put a 5v strip on it, that's prooooobably toast.聽

these connectors came with the cooler. i just plugged them together. I still dunno where is the mistake, why the rgb is not working.

Gammaxx L120? That's Aura compatible (ASUS's RGB system), both it and the ASUS motherboard use 12v so they're compatible. Are you sure you lined the pins up right? there should be a triangle on one end of the 4 pins that tells you how to orient it when plugging into the mobo, if you put it on backwards that could be why it isn't working:聽

rgb-fan-headers.jpg.de982c5baff2f683ab8e1601ef4aa1a2.jpg

12v is the one on the right, as you can see it goes 12V power - Green - Red - Blue, the arrow marks the 12v power so you can line it up correctly.聽

Ooooh, those are 3 pin 5V headers, those off the CPU cooler? What's the exact model of Gammaxx AIO you have, the Gammaxx series 120mm I saw said it sported 12V RGB. 5V strips/devices will not work with 12V. There is a 5V header to 12V strip/device converter, but not a 12V to 5V which is what you'd need, so you're out of luck on the RGB front unless you either get a USB header powered RGB controller that runs 5V strips, or get another cooler 馃槮

So the aio is working well, but rgb needs a converter, right?聽

Yep, a converter that does not exist unless it was made in the last year, and also is invisible to Google's search engine. You either need a standalone RGB controller for 5V strips, or a new cooler with 12V RGB.聽
