This is both flamebait and dumped in the wrong subforum.

Did you read the rules?

Thanks for reading all this by the way!

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

They're all good. I use Windows for games/oddball software, macOS for work and multitasking/general web browsing, and Linux for uhhhh..... I run various distros in VMs sometimes for like 2 minutes as I basically poke it with a stick and see if it does anything.

Moved to Operating Systems and locked.

You're not the first person to ask this question and it's not a particularly health discussion to have. There's no right or wrong answer and debating over which is best is pointless.

  • No trolling or flame-bait.
    • This includes topics such as AMD vs NVIDIA, "company X sucks", and political or religious debates.

^ Also applies to "Which OS is best"
