Ripple on 8 pin GPU #1

Imannudein

Hi Guys,

I have a Strix 2080ti OC edition running at stock settings. PSU is the Aorus P850w. When running games, i noticed that voltage on GPU 8pin #2 is flat at 12.2V but 8pin #1 has some ripple with peak at 12.3 with lowest at 12.09V. Is this considered normal?

Ignore it. Nothing unusual.

Thanks. I suppose if it never drop below 12V it should be okay right? I'm just trying to keep my sanity in check....

the value you see in Hwinfo64 is very inaccurate, you would have to measure ripple with an oscilloscope.

Nothing to really worry about.

someone else that's more familiar with PSU confirm it, thanks

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

i was actually looking for this unit in the list but could find it. So i went at look at KitGuru review which indicated that the unit is okay. Hopefully I'm not using a lemon of a PSU.
