please help!! I am building a PC with Ryzen 7 3700x, RTX 2070 super and the Asus Tuf x570 plus mobo. Need help with choosing a psu

WellsGoFar
As mentioned in the title, I am building the PC with those specs. This is my first build. I got a new packed Antec VP630F psu from a friend. I know this psu is quite old and the OEM for this model is Delta Electronics. I read online and it seems like this power supply has all the necessary features like over-heat protection, over-current protection, over-voltage protection, overpower protection, under-voltage protection and it is 80+ certified

Would this power supply be okay for my build? I think I can also go to Bestbuy and get the Corsair CX750M, it is around $105. Would going with Corsair be a better option or the Antec power supply should be fine?

Thank you in advance.

we're pretty close to a CPU reveal from AMD< and the 3070 has come out and replaced the 2070 so you should consider that instead.

the antec VP-F might be old, but it is actually on the tier list of our forum. it's in tier C, so I don't recommend it for a high end PC.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Thank you, I actually already bought the CPU and GPU some time back. So I'll go with the CX750M then.
