3rd Party speaker for Nest

Trans_Ghost
Go to solution Solved by zeusthemoose,

If it has google assistant built into it, it should be able to do everything a first party one can do.

If I buy a 3rd party Google Assistant enabled speaker can I use it to do that like smart lock and smart thermostat type stuff? or do I have to buy googles own speakers to control most nest products?

Okay, I assumed so but I mean, companies all to often do little things like that, but it's nice to get some kind of confirmation.
