Not garbage.

neither am i.

im just saying that if im looking for PSUs for very long usage, id look at specific units. otherwise something like a Rev D.F is more than allright. HX is certainly a better unit, but id look at neither for very long operation. (offcourse these specific units do also cost a decent bit extra).

I am not keeping any PSU for more than 10 years, I don't care who makes it, given the warranty period.

I wouldn't even put an aging PSU in a new machine or even some major upgrade.

Longest I have ever ran one is 8 years personally. Time for a rebuild by then anyway so the PSU goes too...

Out of those, the only one that's behind in performance is the Corsair HX850.

I have a preference toward Seasonic PSUs so I'd grab the PX or even the Prime Platinum.

But the Cooler Master V850 has some goodies like being able to do single/multirail with its digital controller.

And the NZXT E850 is top of the line in our tier list.

I was considering Corsair RM850 for my ryzen 7, 3080 build. But the HX850 is 50 aud more. Between these two which one should I go for?

Yeah, if the E is that cheap then it's a no brainer. Good luck!

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)
