To preorder or not to preorder oculus 2 link cable.

I pre ordered the Oculus Quest 2 and I'm considering pre ordering this cable as well for whenever I want to link my VR to the pc: https://www.oculus.com/quest-2/accessories/

 

However, it's a type c to type c connector, and I haven't seen any of the different 3080 or 3090 designs with a type C port in the back. I only see display ports and HDMI ports.

it seems like a pretty simple solution but just wanted to check here in this forum first if this is a bad idea for any reason...or if I'm wrong and there really IS a 3080 or 3090 with a type c connector.
