This is in canada as well, so new GPU prices are always wacky (probably 600 for a new 3060)

is 500 reasonable?

Around 450-500 Canadian Dollars seams to be the range at the moment, again still keep in mind the market is becoming a little flooded with cards at the moment for the recent nvidia launch.

$5... Then again, I already have a 5700XT, so it's at best a sidegrade for me.

If you're asking what a fair price is for the card at this time, I'd say no more than $320USD/$430CAD.

500 is an awesome price, I'd even pay 550 (AUD so similar to CAD). Was going to post $390-400US, especially a great cooler like that one, slight premium you'd hope for a really good version of it. 550 honestly, very close to (even better at times than) a 1080ti they must still be 600-700CAD?

Here they often go for 650+ $ which is really not worth it imo ...  at 500- $ it is a nice deal.
