CPU Idle Temps Very High

maxmbg

My CPU has very high idle temps (around 50-60c) and I do not know if this is bad for my pc or not. Any tips?

Well this all kind of depends. There are quite a few different factors at play in this situation which include but is not limited to... Ambient room temperature, model of cpu (some chip sets are know to be a bit more toasty then others), what your cooler is (stock aio etc.), weather there is some form of OC, and even your cpu fan curve (fans might be running at a low rpm until a certain temp)... so on and so forth
BUT as long as its not thermal throttling under load all is good.

This^^^. Also if your CPU is an AMD one they tend to idle high.

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

And what are your temps under load..?

If load temps are fine then don't worry about this, idle temps don't matter, load temps do.
