Long time laptop user trying to build my first PC

I'm trapped with motherboard option tomahawk max vs msi gaming pro wifi and with gpu not sure if I'd need 6gb to run resolve 16 and City Skyline.

This is a far better build than the other two. Note that both builds above are missing a case. 

At this price point there are only two motherboards worth pairing a 3600 with: Asrock B550M Pro4 or Aorus Pro B550M. The only difference between them is that the Pro4 has a 1200 audio codec, while the Aorus Pro has a slightly better 1220 codec. Also, don't use HDDs anymore. You can get 1 TB of very good storage by eliminating that HDD. Most people have a hard time using up 1 TB so I'd start there.
