DDU Restart loop

probablydumb

Alright so a couple months ago i tried reinstalling a driver with DDU and when i clicked clean and restart it cleaned the driver and went to restart, but it just got stuck on restart loop and it would not ever restart. So i was forced to close up by the button.Next time i did it, it happend again same thing and had to restart by the power button. And today when i tried reinstalling a driver AGAIN it happend ONCE AGAIN and i had to close it by the button AGAIN.So im just wondering can shutting off my pc during restart loop hurt one of the components? And how can i fix this so i don't have to restart it by the power button again?

might be broken somewhere in the OS, since it should have a basic driver available.

i've no clue other than telling you to reformat.

wait and see if others have any other ideas

Alright but how about the power button? Can something break if i shut my pc off from there? And can this be written of as something in the OS or hardware?

it can happen, but it's very unlikely

SSD may be sensitive to that, but it's rare that they fail from sudden power cut

i'd say software if it's working fine with current driver, just having problem with uninstalling it.

was it working fine before this?

similar thing has happened to me.

i don't remember if i ever found a fix or it just fixed itself after a while,

but i had an issue where i can't restart my computer, i have to choose the shut down function otherwise there's a risk it will turn on with no signal to any monitors but all fans spinning at 60% ish speed.

i did the bad thing of just force shutting down my pc atleast 40 times, and while i do not recommend it to others, i haven't had a fried ssd yet.

and by power button, do you mean the one on your PSU or the one connected to the motherboard at the top/front of your case

Anything i've written between the * and * is not meant to be taken seriously.

keep in mind that helping with problems is hard if you aren't specific and detailed.

i'm also not a professional, (yet) so make sure to personally verify important information as i could be wrong.
