i want to change my pc case and do i have to reinstall windows

saba17

As long as your components stay mostly the same (Storage, CPU, Mobo, RAM, GPU) you should be able to just reinstall and run everything without problems.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

As long as you keep track of which sata ports your data drives are plugged into you shouldn't have a problem at all. Even so you shouldn't have a problem either way. Some older mobos have a tendency to lose track of your bios settings if you're not careful tho. If you have a newer system it should be perfectly safe to move everything.

"As long as your..." blah blah blah...

Answer is just NO! No reinstall required. Without any other, mostly bad, advices (like advice that is recommended to format drive from time to time - sorry, what?).

And btw. you don't must reinstall your system never unless stop working beyond repair.

And before someone starts asking - no, you don't must reinstall system when you move your computer 30 cm to the left. Or after you change your shoes. :)
