I want to get this kit, I know that I may need to adjust timings (although I'm not sure how to do that yet). I've done preliminary reading about how Zen 2 can be picky with ram but it can always be underclocked plus timings tightened. I doubt that Zen 3 will do anything but improve this. Can someone point me in the right direction here?

So you can only run Ryzen with those memory timings from Corsair? That doesn't make sense to me...

no this is the list of compatible memory sticks with ryzen. your memory claims only to be compatible with threadripper, and not ryzen.

I am confident I've seen people with ryzen builds running dominator ram, various timings. That's what I'm not following

i mean, i first built my pc with vengeance lpx ram and it didnt boot cuz the memory was incompatible. my friend built his ryzen pc with a vengeance lpx kit and it booted. all models are different. make sure you are using the same kit
