My motherboard is ASUS TUF B360M-PLUS Gaming Motherboard B360 LGA1151 (300 Series) DDR4 HDMI VGA M.2 mATX and it won't run after placing 2x8 gb rams in it. It's runs with 1 stick in but not 2. It starts beeps and turns off.

Match the beep code that you're getting with the ones listed in the website below. That'll tell you where the issue lies.

Make sure both sticks work by trying one at a time and then verify both slots work by putting one (known working) stick in it then booting.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

Quote or tag me so I can see your response

Actually it doesn't make a beeping noise. Just boots up rgb starts shuts down then tries again

1+3 or 2+4

Test the RAM one by one, Slot by Slot. So can see when the Problem appears.

Nice.

So you know your Mainboard has an Issue. But since 16GB is enough. You should be fine for now.

Like i said. It looks like your Mainboard is damaged in some way. As long the two DIMMs work now, forget about the Light.

There's a great chance that the pc won't work with the black slots when in dual channel mode. To test if anything is wrong with the black slots, try one stick at a time. White, aka 2+4 slots is primary as stated in the manual and with all intel boards.

CPU: Ryzen 5800X3D | Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Elite V2 | RAM: G.Skill Aegis 2x16gb 3200 @3600mhz | PSU: EVGA SuperNova 750 G3 | Monitor: LG 27GL850-B , Samsung C27HG70 |
GPU: Red Devil RX 7900XT | Sound: Odac + Fiio E09K | Case: Fractal Design R6 TG Blackout |Storage: MP510 960gb and 860 Evo 500gb | Cooling: CPU: Noctua NH-D15 with one fan

FS in Denmark/EU:

Asus Dual GTX 1060 3GB. Used maximum 4 months total. Looks like new. Card never opened. Give me a price.
