I know nothing about cpu cooling stuff, i have a stock intel cooler for my i5 3570k and i want something better that i could maybe over clock i have $80 to spend and live in canada

 

mobo: asus p8 z77 v pro

case : corsair 300r 

cpu : i5 3570k

Depends on how hard you want to OC it. I'd recommend a bequiet Dark Rock 3 or Shadow Rock 2. They're relativeley inexpensive and cool well while being quiet. If you want to overclock really hard I'd suggest to go with the Noctua NH-D14, stated above, if you can fit it.

or you can have the smaller noctua NH-U12s if size is a key

U14S is fine to add here. With two fans it compares with D14.

Yeah agreed. A 2500K didnt even need a nh-d14, and with 3570K's heat disappation bottleneck a nh-d14 is a waste. I'd get a nh-u12s or a nh-u14s to have some space in your rig and still have the same cooling performance as a nh-d14. Theyre also quieter than the nh-d14 and comes with a pwm fan.
