First Build- Adapter Help

ajspeedy5

Been working on this computer, but I have been getting this error: "be quiet! Pure Base 500DX ATX Mid Tower Case has a front panel USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port that can connect to the MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard USB 3.2 Gen 1 header. A separate USB 3.2 Gen 1 to USB 3.2 Gen 2 header adapter will be required." I'm wondering if the USB adapter at the bottom is the right one to fix this issue. This is also my first build, so any help anywhere would be accepted

Well, the warning means that the motherboard doesn't have internal USB-C header. You can use an adapter such as this (https://www.amazon.com/LINKUP-Internal-Motherboard-Converter-Adapter/dp/B07WG8ZJ41) to use one of your USB 3.0 header and convert it to USB-C header.

It's not an error, it just a notification, actually, so you can ignore it, but you won't be able to use your front USB-C from your case. Still, if you like, you can change a motherboard that has USB-C front panel on board.

Note that you can still use USB-C located at the back of the motherboard I/O.

I apologies if my comments or post offends you in any way, or if my rage got a little too far. I'll try my best to make my post as non-offensive as much as possible.
