GPU blocks my 3 other sata ports

Is there any way to fix this as in a sata port splitter?

My motherboard is a b450m ds3h and my gpu is a asus 1660 super evo.

Your GPU should be in the top slot. Then it won't interfere with those 3 sata connectors.

 

Pretty sad that motherboard manufactures are still doing this, though. I haven't had this problem since LGA775.

My gpu is plugged into the top slot and it blocks the top sata port and the 2 sata ports but not the corner one

How is it blocking 3 ports? From the image of the board above I can see a GPU potentially blocking the top port 3 and maybe port 2. But ports 0 and 1 should clear it no problem as 1 is aligned with the bottom PCIe slot.

Are you sure you can't get a cable in there? I used to have that board, and while the GPU was a pain, you could definitely get a cable past it, especially with right-angle connectors.

There are low profile SATA cables that can fix that issue (although the type you'll most likely need will be a bit costly at least for two of the connectors).

yeah, my q6600 board had to have sata cables like this
