Wish they designed their cards a little prettier. The FTW3 looks like it came out of an Original Mel's Diner

With the amount of hysteria here, refreshing the page repeatedly seems to be the only way to even have a chance at getting one. A lot of people are going to be doing this to get their one card, and get left out.

Didn't EVGA have the same policy with the RTX 20 series launch? I wonder why retailers didn't do that at launch.

well thats nice. ive heard that determined botters have ways of bypassing this by use of vpns and/or alternate addresses but its a step in the right direction :)

evga has always had questionable designs but at least theyre usually pretty classic, if not kinda old-fashioned, in looks. the xc3 has the usual look. but the new ftw3 is downright questionable at best lmao, and for 810 bucks plus tax thats a hard sell for me. overclocking on ampere hasnt been stellar but if the ftw3 can exceed in that department then perhaps concessions could be made lol

evga at least makes an attempt to help their customers out, retailers clearly dont care at all as long as it doesnt cut into their profits

I think the design is fine, just the red accents are kinda weird, the ftw3 has a really cool RGB light though, when the lights are off it appears to be silver.

But I really liked their GTX 10 series SC2 cooler design, that looked great without being too overly flashy.

And yeah at least evga is doing something, I'd still go with evga because of their customer service, and they don't use warranty stickers over screws like Asus or MSI.

I can't find anything online about the acoustic performance for the FTW3. Can we expect there to be a 0db fan at idle setting?

This is not correct. Bots work by spam refreshing the page so by doing this they would block out all bots while people who are just sitting there AFK and then hit refresh after release time would have a chance. Can we assume you are one of those bot users since you are complaining about this?

No, I've been posting here for ages.

I'm just trying to get a goddamn card and have been trying the old way by clicking the fucking refresh button and not seeing anything besides "coming soon" to "out of stock" instantly.

You're goddamn right I'm inclined to refresh repeatedly because obviously normal people haven't been able to get a card otherwise.

I was monitoring the EVGA and Nvidia sites since launch until yesterday, I wanted a 3080 but never had a chance to get one, so then decided spend the money on a Synology NAS instead, I will continue with my 980ti for a while longer I guess.
