We keep a pretty strict guideline on what a Tech News post needs to have in order to be allowed in Tech news. You're free to update the OP, and we can move it back if it meets all of the criteria.

We dont really have a subsection for Cable services, so I found the next best thing relating to the topic.  An idiot mod forgot what broadband was

Could definitely have gone here as well. If you guys feel that strongly I can move it there. I have no strong opinion one way or another (and no I'm not high)

.networking maybe....how about off topic or it was a news article, put it back there?.....this literally has nothing to do with home theater equipment.

because it was a old tv that knocked out the internet? no that still doesnt qualify for this thread or the displays thread......

come on man, quit making us scratch our heads in confusion 😛 😃 🤪

So this is definitely my fault.....

I wasn't seeing "broadband" as "internet", and assumed it meant cable service???

Please continue to bash me for my moment of derp as I quietly place this into Networking 😂😂😂

I hope the occupant was compensated for what would surely end up being a case of being 'forced' to stop using the TV.

I also have to wonder how the hell Wired broadband was being overwhelmed by a consumer TV, even an old CRT.

Either craptastic shielding on the cables and boxes, or everything was being sent in wireless, in which case its more understandable.

Still, i bet the owner is now out of pocket.
