VGA D6 Error DisplayPort

y Deni

I have a GTX 1080 Founders Edition and a ROG XG32VQR monitor

I recently bought a Maximus XII Formula + i9 10900k I mounted updated bios and everything.

When I start the PC with XG32VQR in DisplayPort I get Error Code D6 and 3 beeps + I cannot enter Bios. But when I try with another monitor with DisplayPort it doesn't beep and it doesn't show any Error Code

When I start with HDMI it works and it does not beep.

Anyone knows how to fix it? Is the problem at the monitor or the GPU

Also the GPU benchmark at userbenchamark cannot be completed with any monitor or any cable Display or HDMI

Sounds like the monitor just doesn't like your GPU over DisplayPort... It happens sometimes.

RMA the monitor or the GPU... That's about your only options as far as I know. It's not guaranteed to fix the problem either.

Nope. Probably for the same reason my dad's monitor won't work with DisplayPort on his RX 570, but will work on my brother's RX 580, and my RX 5700XT... Because "reasons". (a.k.a. no reason whatsoever)
