Tricking schools internet into thinking I am in the school

Robinator1

Hi,

since our schools are closed due to the coronavirus we dont really travel to school every day, but uploading papers to our school system works only on schools wifi, which means I have to travel 100 kilometers every time I need to turn in come assigment. Is there any way to connect to the schools internet thru like VPN? The schools router settings has like acc: admin and password admin so I can easily change settings. Im not interested in hacking or anyting i just dont want to travel so much just to upload and travel back home.

Thanks :)

that is just a horrible setup then.
but yes if you could connect to a VPN you would essentially be on the school network. BUT i would talk to the school about this.

Perhaps you could just ask, if there's some faculty-member you can email your assignments to, so they'll then upload your assignments into the system. Or ask them to set up an automated thing to pick assignments up from email. That'd be the easiest and the most sane approach, instead of trying to setup an unauthorized VPN-connection.

You could use a VPN, but without permission that would be far from legal. Also that setup seems kinda bs talk to the school about it.

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

I am from Czech republic, we do have a system for uploading assignments but the thing is it only allows me to upload anything if im on the schools network. The system is as ancient as our head of the IT which is half genius and half crazy, but I guess e-mailing it to someone there could be more reasonable than screwing around with schools network. Thanks to all 🙂
