Defect GTX 760, can it be repaired?

Fyrbel

Hey,

some time ago i got a GTX 760(Zotac blower style) from a friend as i build him a new rig I took his old one, which wasn't working anymore.

Long story short his GPU is dead, somewhat.

It can output a video signal, but would crash the driver when going into 3d workload.

As I ivestigate it got worse, first driver wouldn't lauch with Windows, then it would only output in 1024 x 768 and know I get a blackscreen befor the Windows login would show up, but shows mainboard infos before.

The system has no other problems and runs with a other GTX 760 fine as a gameserver.

I did a clean installs of the driver and all.

I'm sure the card it self is damaged. My friend told me the PC just died from one day to the next, makes sense for me.

So does anyone have an idea i could try to get this card back to live.

Otherewise i would take it apart for fun and maybe put it in the oven?

Well thx to anyone who has an idea.
