GPU ram and system ram compatibility

Recommended Posts

Good morning people of the forum.

Quick question I want to have cleared up. Recently I've been reading about the rumored 3000 super/ti variants of the cards, which have been reported to have 8gb for the 3060, 16gb for the 3070 and 20gb for the 3080. These cards caught my eye, but I started to think about system requirements for these cards.

Does your system need more then the standard 16gb of ram for these cards or would you need more.

Thanks

Your PC's RAM has absolutely nothing to do with the GPUs, there is no such requirement.

That said, it's about the gaming you do... have you even come close to using 16GB on our machine?

If so, buy more.  It's cheap as balls right now.
