Is Hwmonitor inaccurate?

I've been using hwmonitor for a month, and my cpu temps are kinda high 66c on idle, and 98c-100 while gaming. I tried everything like changing thermal paste, and removing sidepannel and putting a electric fan in to it. Then I downloaded speedfan, hwinfo64, and argus monitor. The cpu temps are kinda low compared to hwmonitor. Is hwmonitor really that bad?

Gonna take a guess and say you have an AMD? You should ryzen master then as other software can report wrong temps/clocks

try looking at it through the bios

I checked the bios it says 67c even touch the side pannel where the socket cpu located. It seems like it is pretty hot. When I'm in the windows 10 display screen seems like the temps are lower unlike the bios

ryzen master

Would have been nice if they supported *nix with that.
