RTX 3070 Build, opinions?

Budget (including currency): ~$1300

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1080p gaming, PS, and some Blender.

Other details: I already own a new 650w Seasonic PSU, and I'm using my old Fractal Design Arc midi R2 case. But I need to replace the fans.

I think a good b550 would be more than enough for what you would use it for, maybe 32gb of ram since you are using it for blender. If you don't want 32gb ram try and get 3600mhz ram because Ryzen loves fast ram.

I mean, x570s roughly the same price as B550s and have better forward support from what I understand. I will lightly OC, getting heavier as the cpu/gpu age.

In that case the x570 is fine. I did not realize you wanted to oc. You technically could get away with a b550/b450, but future proofing that is not a bad idea. I would go for a different case and different fans, maybe a p400a

Don't apologize you got me thinking about it and I'm researching the GIGABYTE B550M AORUS PRO Micro-Atx to maybe save some cash. So thanks man.
