Ahh this is nice, have the perfect idea. Are we gonna get 3080s? (I'm sure Linus has some insider strings he could pull to scrap together 3 of em.)

You're gonna carry that weight.

It's neither good nor bad. Just a matter of what it felt like.

It felt like scrolling through reddit, except it was a person lol.

Shipping is fucked due to covid and I somehow doubt something with a big heavy GPU and glass side panels would make it in one piece.

Yeah, but I was looking forward to this and in ltt's official discord (about a week ago) I remember typing "Linus if your reading this, do ROG rig reboot from a distance!"

How would they do it from a distance? Shopping heavy components and glass panels would be a nightmare.

Dont you remember like 2 years ago when that kids computer was broke during shipping, and that was without COVID?

If you have a potato PC how are you supposed to stream exactly?

Or do you REALLY expect them to ship two PCs, verify the parts in the build PC first, hope someone can properly set it up, and then hope they send the stream PC back?

Edit:

I see I missed the fact that they will be streaming one in Canada and one in the US but it still begs the question of import taxes and other legal issues too.

They said they would give you all the things needed to stream. My guess is that it will just be over zoom or a zoom like service, and they will give you a good camera or something.

You're gonna carry that weight.

I wonder how many people will enter this time, my guess is way less than last time, because there isn't any international contestants. Also how many entries were children with their phone cameras? That's all i see when i look up the hashtag on youtube.

You're gonna carry that weight.
