Unable to boot from ssd.

Ended up reinstalling windows.

Hi. I recently upgraded to an ssd, but I am unable to boot from it. I can find it in the bios, but i cannot choose it in the boot menu.

 

Hardware:

- Motherboard: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO

- SSD: Corsair Force Series MP510 960GB M.2 SSD

 

Additional info:

- The ssd is a clone of my old boot-drive.

does it show up in the bios?

What did you use to clone the drive?

 

Are you using Windows 10?

If yes, is it UEFI or legacy?

 

I cloned a UEFI Windows 10 install to an NVME SSD on the Maximus XI Hero using Macrium Reflect, and I had no issues whatsoever.

I used macrium reflect to clone the drive. I am using windows 10

I was able to boot from my old drive and quicly see that the ssd had all the folders and files in the start directory.

Where should i enable it? Tried to enable it in the CSM menu for PCI-E/PCI Expansion devices, but that did not work.
