3080 EKWB for FE teased and its different

Maticks

EKWB dropped this image on its facebook feed of the FE 3080 Block and at first i didn't notice something pretty major on this.

the connections at on the back of the card instead at the normal on the top spot.

Anyone looking for a bit of a different built or has a case they wished the connections were on the back side, this might be the card for you :)

With launches tomorrow and this not shown anywhere i thought i'd share.

Lets see how it all works out. I'll definetly get a 3080 and watercool it. What exact model i'll get depends on what is the cheapest option. The preinstalled EVGA Hydro Copper, or the FE / AIB models with a EKWB.

Afaik EKWB actually has plans for pretty much every 3080 variant that will be on the market. There are already waterblocks for the reference PCB on the shop. And cards like the MSI Gaming X and Asus Strix are already confirmed to get custom blocks.

The FE model with a waterblock will look a bit stubby imo. I'm interested on how this turns out!

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

If that’s what they are doing for the fe card because it’s short I’ll actually go that round.
Assuming they are doing the normal trend for the reference card/block.
