[US-Microcenter] i3 9100F $50, i3 10100 $80

Aereldor

The Core i3 9100F - an absurdly cheap chip that's fantastic for gaming - is $50 at Micro Center (instore) with the purchase of a compatible motherboard.

The 10100F, which has hyperthreading and I guess marginally better IPC, is $80 with the purchase of a compatible motherboard

Honestly I think the 9100F for $50 is an absolute steal... Its performance isn't far off from a 7600k at stock speeds, it'll play damn near anything.

The prices that Intel needs to stay competitive, finally

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

The 3100x doesn't exist, I believe you mean the 3100 or the 3300x.

AMD's offering here is the Ryzen 1200AF- actually slower than the i3 9100F, and almost never available in the US. People in Europe can find it for $40-50, but since A320/B450 boards are pricier than H310, people aren't buying it.

I own a 9100F - it's in my little sister's PC and honestly it runs anything.
