surface rt surface rt keyboard not working

i bought a surface rt and touch keyboard for cheap and when i tried the keyboard it did not work, the tablet works fine but what ever i do it does not work!

Where did you buy it?

 

is it connected properly? Any lights that would indicate the keyboard is on?

no nothing happens(when u shut it off).

when u shut it it turns off (so that works!!)

Have you contacted the seller? Maybe they will refund you. If not, report the problem to eBay and PayPal (or your bank)

 

edit: try to troubleshoot the device before doing anything with PayPal or your bank though

i have done that and they say "we did not put that it came with a keyboard in the listing"

they also said that they only included it as an extra and that it was just incase they were just being ignorant!!

Did they have the keyboard in the images? If they did I’m pretty sure they would have to specify that it doesn’t. That would be like me posting a phone on eBay but shipping it without the screen protector or case.
