Why has the last four videos been sponsored by tech companies?

Unlisted videos are often posted on the forum (sometimes up to 60 minutes) before being released on youtube :)

Just get a MacBook. 

Gaming laptops are always expensive, undercooled, and underperforming.  I'd only get a gaming laptop if I really needed the mobility.  Better to just get a basic laptop for work/school and keep gaming to a desktop.

There's a reason ultra books dominate uni campus'. Think in 4 years I saw 2 gaming laptops vs all the MacBooks on earth and cheaper HP machines.

Someone on the YouTube comments for an earlier video was talking about how this has happened before. It just depends on what kind of sponsorships they get and advertisements, so in this case, it's likely they had multiple sponsorships back to back. I don't think anything has changed on the business side. It's just what the companies are willing to pay for sponsorships vs advertisements.

Maybe Corsair should buy Clevo and put better keyboards on their laptops as well. I absolutely hate the way they do their number pads and the cursor key arrangement.

Which aren’t built as well, have a worse screen, run windows, don’t have a 16:10 screen, don’t have a good trackpad and don’t have a good keyboard. Oh and it uses a barrel charger.

But it is half the price XD Most college kids are broke and won’t be spending 2k on a laptop they are going to spill a drink on.

Experience of uni says otherwise :) 

 

Also it’s not half the price the X1 is more expensive than the 13” MBP and even then for uni an air is all you need.
