Does youtube words blacklist matter if you have innapproriate comments held for review?

So few months back i stupidly deleted all of my words blacklist that i had for more than 6 years (even since my channel got monetized). So i am wondering if it can affect anything like getting unnecessary spam or something because i do feel choosing "held inappropriate comments for review" does seem to work pretty well and i am not noticing any difference is spam filtering but still i have some doubts because that word filtering option still exists and must have a purpose

if the words are just common in appropriate words, I imagine it would be okay. But if you ban random words like “Netflix” or “Telegram” then you need to add it back

yeah, i only added curse words which i think is similar to youtube's automatic spam detection algorithm. I have no issues with anyone using normal words even if it's something aggressive, i am ok if it's presented in constructive manner.
