I don't think F@H will be ready for RTX 3000 by event time.

Too rich for my blood anyway. I just spent all my money on 5700XTs.

i am signed up for the event bender has ben bending except when he smoked his PSU apparently the xfx Power supply didnt have the right stuff hes been upgraded to a Seasonic...Seasonic and Corsair now power 100% of my desktops. Calculon will come back to life too hes been relaxing all summer he just got data vaced this morning and is ready to go come oct 12. but its sitting on the sidelines till temps allow him to kick in and Flexo may stay on the sidelines due to Vcard issues apparently my rx580 is getting tired of me and been getting driver related BSODS and have reloaded and same issue. only when i stress it out thou. I MAY upgrade to the 3070 but likely wont be till after the event. i really want a big Navi if its good enough.

I was considering getting some 2060 ko's, which are a fair bit cheaper than the 5700xt here. Instead now I want to go 3000 series to replace my 2080s, would be a shame not to be able to use it in the event.

Just depends on how much tweaking and testing it requires to get them working. Navi took forever, but that's because it was a whole new ball game.

lol not lie but mis truth yes. as we all seen the photoshopped Nvidia Err i mean Rx580s that are so Asus Nvidia RTX2080s lol but what ever gives Denfi the edge lol...though i do see Den-fi does have 1 5700XT water-cooled.

Oh man.  Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on a 30 series card in time (and hopefully they'll be reasonably functional w/in F@H by the time of the event).  Gonna hold out for the 3090, so that might cut it a little too close.  I'll still have a 2080 Ti in the running, though.  I look forward to marvelling at my electric bill for October if I can get both machines running at full blast :) 

I'm also planning on dumping some money into Amazon cloud because why the heck not.  Got more money than sense, might as well MAX OUT MAH POINTS!

Folding month should take place over 5 weeks, much like it did last year!!!
