Not to mention, the core itself was recently updated. Nvidia GPU's can now use Cuda. This is after the update with my system.

Look at his screenshot... whole point is it's stuck on downloading the new core. Was slow for me as well. And lost me points since it downloaded the WU before spending 15 mins downloading the core :P

it's been saying that it's downloading the core for 6 hours...

can someone expalin to me why cpu WUs only give so few points even though they take way longer than the gpu WUs?

i almost dont see the point in doing cpu WUs

folding@home is better suited to lots and lots of small calculations, which is what GPU's are best suited to, wheras CPU's are more centered around fewer bigger/more complicated calculations. since the GPU work units are vastly more complicated, they are worth more points. this is also why many people choose to not fold on their CPU.

fdklajfd;l looking like i'm going to have to pull my 2060 from the fold due to consistent but inexplicable blue-screening


Edit: going to go ahead and try clocking my memory down to 2666... see if that helps any at all

Edit the second: as it turns out, the BIOS was wildly out of date and my PC seems to boot at DOCP now, so that's cool. currently throat punching it with blender (CPU only) to test for stability

just in time for the event, another RTX 2070 Super joins the fold!

it does leave the server a bit cramped tough, i wonder what sustainale temps are gonna be like on this one.

Had to miss out of the last folding month, too hot here in Rhode Island to keep everything cool without costing me a fortune (Kept everything folding just set to light and only during idle).
