Notifications Out of Sync?

Browser, version and OS: 

Firefox - 79.0 (64-bit)

Windows 10 - 2004

 

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

It's not consistent (the worst kind of issue) but I've seen a few times today I get a notification while browsing the forum but when I click on the bell icon nothing will show up in the history or it's delayed a few minutes and not every notification is there even then. I had two people react to a post but only one shows in the notifications:

What did you expect to happen?

All notifications show show up in the history I assume.

 

Any other relevant details:

I've noticed this a couple times today, haven't noticed this before but it might have happened and I wasn't paying attention. Perhaps it's because two people reacted at the same time that's causing the issue, not 100% sure on that but I remember getting multiple notifications the last time and noticed only a single one show in the history too.

If it's reactions specifically then the cause is the same as

 

If someone reacts twice (eg they change their reaction), the notification gets retracted but not resent.

Interesting, I'm pretty sure it's just reactions, I thought I scrolled through and didn't see that thread. I'll monitor for another day or so and see if I see it again to be safe
