New build no signal

Hello everyone, 

I just did a new build with a ASUS x570 Tuf wifi, 3700x, patriot 4400mhz RAM and Gigabyte rx5700xt oc, the problem is that I don't get a boot, the rig keeps looping without any signal on the monitor. So I took out my rx5700xt and dropped my gtx1070 in and everything works as it should, and the rx5700xt works in my old rig. What could this issue be? I just updated the bios and don't try it yet. I wanted to make sure I know what the issue is. 

 

Oh btw I have a Corsair 750w psu

Were you definitely connecting the monitor to the GPU and not the motherboard? That's a common mistake.

try a different pcie slot.

clear the cmos. 

also make sure you're connecting the monitor to the gpu and not to the board.

I definitely connect to GPU, I tried all DP ports and the HDMI port

I didn't try a different pcie slot, only the one the gtx1070 works in

try that and then try booting. 

you could also try clearing the cmos.
